Counseling Services for New Jersey Residents
Are you a therapist looking for 1:1 clinical support? Do you feel lost in how to manage your cases, and need a fresh perspective on your clinical approaches and practice? Look no further, you have found the right place!
Receiving support as a therapist is not only important for the work that we do but also important for our overall wellness. Most therapists don't receive adequate or enough clinical support throughout their careers and maintaining consistency in peer support can be even more difficult the busier we get! You may find yourself struggling with this right away upon graduation from a clinical program, during or after completing supervision, or upon entering a supervisory role. This can lead to unnecessary stress, burnout, loneliness, and feeling disconnected from your profession.
One effective solution? Clinical consultation.
Clinical consultation is offered in 60-minute sessions as an opportunity for therapists to connect with a peer to receive guidance and support on clinical cases and overall clinical practice.
Open to mental health professionals/therapists with the following licensures: LCSWs, LPCs, LACs, LSWs, AMTs, LMFTs, PsyDs, or other equivalent licensure and education. Social work or counseling degrees are also accepted for consultation if a license is pending or if employment is in a behavioral health setting.
*Please note: clinical consultation is not equivalent to clinical supervision nor is it equivalent to the provision of psychotherapy services.

Learn how to map out a coherent plan to process and understand your clinical cases. Case conceptualization provides therapists with the guidance, strategy and focus to organize information, anticipate challenges and prepare for successful treatment for their clients from start to finish.
Explore evidenced-based modalities and how they can be integrated into your sessions or refresh current techniques and interventions for implementation. Identify what feels aligned with your professional goals in building your skill set as a clinician.
Clinical consultation provides a safe space to process any potential countertransference that has or may potentially arise with a trusted, experienced professional. The goal is to leave you feeling confident, self-aware, and supported to manage your therapeutic alliance with all of your clients.
As therapists, we spend a great deal of time and energy caring for and supporting others. It is just as important to have that care and support returned back to us. Engaging in clinical consultation may reduce rates of burnout, and compassion fatigue while increasing well-being and health.
