Somatic therapy is a body-centered approach to healing that recognizes the deep connection between your mind, emotions, and physical body. When we experience stress, trauma, or emotional overwhelm, our bodies often hold on to those experiences—even long after the event has passed. Somatic therapy helps you gently reconnect with your body, tune in to its signals, and release what’s been stored inside.
Rather than focusing only on talking through issues, somatic therapy invites in awareness of your physical sensations, breath, posture, and movement. This process supports you in accessing and processing emotions that may not yet have words, allowing healing to happen on a deeper level.
